Ghislain de Trémiolles is a French and European Patent Attorney and has a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Automation and Signal Processing. He also has a University degree in European Patents Litigation as well as a Master’s degree in Law, Economics and Management, specialized in Intellectual Property law,  from Strasbourg University.

After a number of years in research and development for a major company in the field of information technology, during which he prepared his doctoral thesis, he joined the French intellectual property department of that company in which he acquired expertise in patents, trademarks, copyright and contract law.

He joined Santarelli in 2006 where he advises and assists clients both in France and abroad in the acquisition and defense of their rights, in numerous technical fields including information technology, telecommunications, electronics, mechanical engineering and business methods. He became a partner in 2012.

His career in the firm has enabled him to develop his extensive experience in conducting industrial property audits, in patent litigation and in patent oppositions before the European Patent Office.
