Biography
Valérie Vulliez supports innovative companies – from start-ups to large groups – in protecting their inventions and defending their intellectual assets, both in France and internationally. She guides her clients through patent filings and prosecution procedures and represents them in opposition proceedings before the INPI and the EPO.
With more than 20 years of experience, she has successfully handled numerous examination and opposition proceedings. A generalist engineer by training (Ecole Centrale Paris) with a particular focus on mechanics, Valérie is registered as a French Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney (EPO), and is authorized to plead before both offices as well as before the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
Didactic and attentive, Valérie ensures rigorous follow-up of her cases through transparent and detailed reporting and close coordination between R&D teams and foreign associates. She is committed to building patent portfolios that are aligned with her clients’ business objectives and resources. Outside her professional activity, Valérie is passionate about environmental and social issues and nurtures her curiosity and altruism through volunteer work in various associations (basketball, disability, etc.).
