Biography
Sophie Marc is a French Trademark and Design Attorney and a European Trademark and Design Attorney. She holds a Master’s degree in Private Law and a postgraduate degree (DESS) in Intellectual Property, Contracts, and New Technologies Law from the University of Grenoble. After an initial experience in industry and media, Sophie worked in private practice in Sydney before continuing her career in IP firms in Paris. She joined the firm in 2007.
Sophie primarily advises companies on the acquisition, protection, and enforcement of rights in trademarks, designs, domain names, and copyright in France and abroad. She has extensive experience managing French and international client portfolios, protecting their rights worldwide, and handling filing procedures, clearance searches, oppositions, anti-counterfeiting actions, customs monitoring, and litigation in France and in many foreign countries, particularly in China.
Her clients operate across a wide range of industries and services, with a strong focus on luxury, fashion, and sports.
