Biography

Lorraine BAZIN assists innovative companies (from start-ups to large corporations) in protecting, defending, and promoting their intangible assets in France and internationally. A member of the Paris Bar since 2016, she advises and defends her clients in complex litigation relating to patents, trademarks, designs, and copyright before French and European courts and intellectual property offices.

With nearly nine years of experience in intellectual property, Lorraine has also developed particular expertise in issues of unfair competition, consumer and distribution law, and matters related to new technologies (AI, ICT). She has successfully handled litigation and advisory cases involving the drafting and negotiation of strategic contracts (assignment, licensing, coexistence agreements, R&D consortia).

Lorraine holds an LLM in Intellectual Property and Competition Law from University College London (UCL), a Master 2 in Business Law “European Lawyer” from Paris Nanterre University, and a dual degree in French and British law (Bordeaux IV University and LLB from the University of Kent). Lorraine has an international academic background. She is a member of APRAM (Association of Trademark and Design Law Practitioners) and has taught several times as a guest lecturer at Télécom Paris.

Passionate about artistic creation and technological innovation, she actively contributes to the development of the firm’s “Artificial Intelligence & Intellectual Property” practice. Outside of her professional life, Lorraine cultivates her interest in the arts (as an auditor at the École du Louvre, visual arts, literature) and enjoys tennis, yoga, and hiking.
