Biography
Frank Sauvestre has worked in the field of intellectual property since 1995 and has been a French Patent Attorney since 2007. After a year at the French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA), handling the secrecy of patent applications, he worked in several Parisian firms before joining IPSIDE (now Santarelli) in 2018.
His clientele—mainly SMEs, mid-sized companies, start-ups, and individuals—values his personal approach and commitment to building strong, trust-based relationships. Passionate about new technologies and pragmatic by nature, he draws on his background as an innovation engineer to address his clients’ challenges as closely as possible.
Frank also has significant experience in patent litigation, both offensive and defensive. In addition, he has been a volunteer for 20 years in support structures, particularly in grandes écoles incubators. Highly involved in the start-up ecosystem, he has been a resident at STATION F since 2021 and takes part in numerous tech events (CES, Vivatech, Paris Innovation, BIG, Paris Saclay Spring, Maddy Keynote, Meet’up Greentech).
Finally, mindful of today’s environmental challenges, he has served since 2021 as a judge for the start-up competition organized by Cleantech Open France. His eclectic passions include 15 years of URBEX photography, theme parks, as well as concerts and live shows.
