Biography
Éric Le Bihan holds a Master’s degree in Law and a postgraduate degree (DESS) in Intellectual Property Law from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas. He joined Santarelli in 1996 and became a partner in 2009.
With over twenty years of experience, he advises both multinational corporations managing global portfolios and SMEs on the management and valorization of their intangible assets. His expertise covers all aspects of intellectual property: audits and due diligence, acquisitions, assignments and licenses, contract negotiation and drafting, protection of trademarks, designs, copyright, and domain names.
Éric is particularly active in anti-counterfeiting. He handles numerous disputes, notably in the Middle East and Asia, and regularly works on strategic cases in the luxury sector. He also assists his clients with opposition proceedings, customs surveillance, and unfair competition actions.
Author and co-author of several leading articles published in Propriétés Intellectuelles and JurisClasseur, he contributes to doctrinal thinking on the evolution of trademark and intellectual property law.
His international practice, mastery of complex litigation issues, and ability to develop tailor-made strategies make Éric Le Bihan a trusted partner for the protection and valorization of intellectual property rights in France and abroad.
Éric has been President of Santarelli and Chief Executive Officer of Santarelli Group since 2025.
