Biography

Cloé Sigal-Guille joined the intellectual property firm Santarelli in January 2022 in Toulouse, before moving to the Paris team as an Intellectual Property Counsel. She specialized in intellectual property law during her studies in Bordeaux and Nice, devoting her research thesis to a topical issue: the waiver of patents on Covid-19 vaccines. Following her studies, she joined the European research program DATA4C+, collaborating with IRD, Cirad, and INRAe research centers.

Alongside researchers in soil protection and environmental studies, she designed a strategy to reconcile the dissemination and protection of scientific data. Her work aimed to promote research while ensuring broad access to essential information. This reflection led to the publication of an article in the AFES scientific journal EGS (Étude et Gestion des Sols).

Today, Cloé advises a diverse French and European clientele, ranging from large multinational companies in the fashion and luxury sectors to SMEs and start-ups. She focuses primarily on the strategic management of intellectual property portfolios, as well as pre-litigation and administrative litigation involving trademarks, designs, copyright, and anti-counterfeiting. Actively engaged within the firm and with smaller organizations, she serves as CSR ambassador and initiated the creation of pro bono missions for European start-ups. She also contributes her expertise to IP consultations and research projects.
