Biography

An aerospace engineer with a passion for science fiction and new technologies, Christophe served as President of IPSIDE, which became Santarelli, from 2010 to 2025. His expertise is built on solid experience in patents, ranging from drafting and managing prosecution procedures in France, Europe, and worldwide, to prior art searches, patentability assessments, and strategic monitoring. He also advises clients on freedom-to-operate and patent validity, and supports them in complex litigation matters (including infringement seizures and defense actions).

His technical expertise is particularly focused on IT and software, mechanics, and aerospace, where he helps companies protect and leverage their innovations.

A graduate of Sup-Aero (Toulouse), Christophe furthered his education with patent law training at CEIPI, a university degree in European patent litigation (EPL), and an MBA from UCLA. He also holds diplomas from the Cycle of Advanced European Studies (ENA) and the Cycle of Advanced Economic Development Studies (Minefi), providing him with a broad strategic vision of the economic and international issues tied to innovation.

As a French Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney accredited before the European Patent Office (EPO), he is actively involved in several professional networks, including AIPPI, FrenchFounders, Club Agregator, and Consulegis.

With his dual background as an engineer and lawyer, combined with extensive management experience, Christophe brings together technical expertise, international vision, and strategic leadership to support the growth and competitiveness of innovative companies.
