Biography

Wishing to pursue a career at the crossroads of law, chemistry, and biology, Blandine Tarrère became interested in intellectual property at an early stage. During her engineering studies, she completed an internship in the patent department of Rhône Poulenc Rorer, which confirmed her choice. While studying at CEIPI (long cycle – Patents specialization), she joined the firm Armengaud Aîné.

She began her career working mainly for institutional clients (CNRS, INSERM, Université de la Méditerranée, IRD, etc.). After several years at the firm LLR, where she created the Chemistry-Biology-Biotechnology practice, Blandine joined Santarelli in 2012. She initially worked primarily with SMEs and large corporations before developing a dedicated practice supporting start-ups. Blandine advises her clients in a wide variety of fields, including agri-food, crop protection, cosmetics, organic chemistry, and medical sciences (including SPCs).

Also specialized in employee inventions, Blandine assists her clients with matters such as drafting compensation policies, resolving disputes between inventors, and representing them before the French National Commission for Employee Inventions when necessary.
