Biography
Since January 2022, Arnaud Guillou-Camargo has been assisting innovative start-ups and SMEs in protecting and leveraging their inventions.
With over ten years of experience as a researcher and R&D engineer, he has led projects in diverse fields such as acoustics, software development, energy conversion systems engineering, and teaching. Active in an international environment, Arnaud has collaborated with laboratories in Europe, the United States, and Asia, participated in numerous scientific conferences, and undertaken research stays abroad. Since 2025, he has also been conducting financial evaluations of patent portfolios, providing in-depth and quantified analyses of his clients’ IP assets.
Specialized in supporting start-ups and SMEs, Arnaud advises on intellectual property strategy, raising awareness of patent-related issues: building a consistent portfolio, aligning with business objectives, and anticipating risks. His approach is both strategic and operational, with rigorous follow-up and regular exchanges with internal teams.
Arnaud holds a PhD in Metrology (Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers) and is currently qualifying as a European Patent Attorney. Passionate about music, he brings creativity to his work with inventors, offering an inventive approach to the analysis and protection of innovations. He also draws on his practice of sports (running, freediving, climbing)—both individual and team-based—for determination, a spirit of achievement, and collaboration, which he applies to client projects.
Finally, Arnaud serves as the CSR ambassador for the Bordeaux office, where he leads awareness initiatives on societal and environmental issues. He is also involved in the continuous improvement of internal processes and the implementation of collaborative tools to enhance efficiency and collective engagement.
