Biography
Ali holds a Master’s degree in Private Law and a Master’s II in Intellectual Property Law. He is a French Trademark and Design Attorney as well as a European Trademark and Design Attorney. After gaining experience at leading intellectual property firms, he joined Santarelli in 2018, where he supports clients in protecting, leveraging, and defending their intangible assets in France and internationally.
His expertise covers the entire lifecycle of intellectual property rights: monitoring and clearance searches, filing strategies, management of registration and renewal procedures, as well as opposition, invalidity, and revocation proceedings. In recent years, he has developed strong expertise in litigation and pre-litigation, with a particular focus on opposition proceedings before the INPI and EUIPO.
Ali is also involved in drafting and negotiating IP-related contracts (assignments, licenses, coexistence agreements, etc.) and advises a wide range of clients—from innovative start-ups to international groups and SMEs—on the management and valuation of global trademark and design portfolios.
Recognized for his rigor, responsiveness, and pragmatic approach, his practice combines strong technical expertise with the ability to deliver strategic solutions tailored to each client’s specific challenges.
