Do you have to prove use of a trademark?
Yes. In most jurisdictions, a trademark must be genuinely used within a period generally ranging from three to five years after registration. If no use is proven, the trademark may be subject to revocation for non-use.
Evidence of use must show real commercial exploitation of the mark for the goods or services concerned. Proper documentation helps secure trademark rights and reduce the risk of loss due to non-use.
