Marc Santarelli
Marc Santarelli started the firm in 1977.
He was a French and European Patent, Trademark and Design Attorney, with an educational background including an engineering degree from the prestigious Arts et Manufactures school, and a law degree. He joined the profession in 1964, and for over 45 years devoted the majority of his professional life to assisting clients in litigation and contentious matters, for which his dual legal and engineering training was ideal preparation.
Marc Santarelli also greatly contributed to the activities of various French and international professional organizations.
In France he was a president of the National Company of Patent Attorneys (CNCBI), of the Association of Intellectual Property Attorneys (ACPI) and of the French branch of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
At international level, he was Secretary General of the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys (FICPI) and Chairman of various international commissions of the AIPPI.
He also received honorary memberships from these two organizations and he held the rank of Chevalier (knight) of the French Order of Merit.
